Tiesto has attended a school party in the ‘club’ Kerkplein Breda (voted for the best discotheque in NL 2 years ago and formerly known as ‘Massa’ where the last Magik party was) last week to support Hardwell who performed there also. Tiesto didn’t spin a record but probably just wanted to chill and party a little bit. Tiesto’s appearance had to be kept secret otherwise he didn’t want to come there. It seems that Tiesto is doing more and more to promote Breda. The new clip of Zero 76 will also contain a lot of Breda images. The council of Breda stated that Tiesto also asked for some HQ pics of the city of Breda for his new clip.

It’s also nice to see that Tiesto supports a new local hero in Breda: Dj Hardwell. It looks like Tiesto is some kind of mentor for him the last few months.

“Het was al een te gek feest, maar het bezoek van Tiësto maakte het helemaal af”, aldus Raymond Elzerman, eigenaar van discotheek Kerkplein. De wereldberoemde dj uit Breda bezocht maandagavond het SGB scholierengala.

Elzerman wist maandagmiddag al dat Tiësto naar Kerkplein zou komen. “Maar ik mocht uiteraard niets zeggen”, lacht de ondernemer. “Anders zou hij niet komen. Hij kwam met dj Hardwell mee, met wie hij laatst de plaat Zero 76 heeft uitgebracht.”

“De scholieren klommen nog net niet de dj-booth in”, grapt Elzerman. “Nee hoor, iedereen slaakte wel even een gil toen hij binnekwam, maar was daarna ook weer zo nuchter om gewoon door te feesten. Het bezoek van Tiësto gaf wel een extra dimensie aan een toch al uitzinnig feest.”
